Having spent a week in another facility in town where we had a terrible experience, The Terraces was a wonderful change. The entire staff showed great respect to the patient. PT and OT was outstanding and teamwork between various staff (nurses and assistants) ensured top care. Meals were outstanding and lovely touches like the afternoon snack cart that comes around with little sandwiches and goodies made all the difference. “My mother stayed at The Terraces Skilled Nursing for 5 weeks after a pelvic fracture in December 2016. When she first entered, she could hardly move. After 5 weeks she was walking with a walker/cane, ready to go home. I'm very glad I chose the Terraces for her rehabilitation and nursing care: The place is cheery, almost like a nice hotel, instead of a nursing home. The food is surprisingly good. The people who work here, especially, make it a great place. They have an attitude of wanting to do the right thing and go the extra mile. The wonderful therapy staff helped my mom recover as quickly as she did. The nursing staff was patient and caring. There are daily activities to engage the elderly patients; my mom enjoyed participating in these because of the warm and caring staff. The social services personnel were very nice and helpful too.
