Sunshine Health is a locally owned Spokane Valley health care facility offering a multi-service approach to rehabilitation therapy and senior living. Services include short and long-term rehabilitation and therapy, skilled nursing, mental health treatment, senior care, memory care, adult family homes and Medicare-certified home health care for Spokane, Liberty Lake, and other neighboring communities. Our goal is to promote wellness, independence, and dignity in all of the patients and residents that we serve.
Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing is offered through Sunshine Health & Rehab and consists of long-term medical care or treatment that can only be done by trained and licensed staff. Examples include complex wound care, IVs and tube feedings, certain rehabilitation treatments, specific care following accidents, serious illness, cardiac, and stroke care. This is a place you can feel confident in giving your parents the help they need. We provide short and long-term care for skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy with the goal of returning each person to as normal a life as possible.
Nursing care is available 24 hours a day and is provided by on-site staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing aides. Physician consultation and visits are also available on-site. Rehabilitation services are offered from our own physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists 5 to 7 days per week. Medical Nutrition Therapy is provided by a Registered Dietitian. Psycho-social needs are met by Social Services Staff, and there is specially trained activity staff to provide daily activities tailored to each individual's needs.
