With a focus on comfort and care, hospice is a specialized way of attending to patients who are nearing the end of their lives at home where they are comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. Providing hospice care allows St. Luke's to care for our patients and their families through some of their most difficult times. We take great pride in providing compassionate care and in our ability to properly attend to and counsel patients as they make difficult end-of-life decisions about their treatments.
In order to provide the most compassionate and appropriate care, St. Luke's has an inter-disciplinary team of individuals who believe deeply in the importance of the hospice and bereavement services we provide. Together, a care plan is developed in accordance with the patient's specific wishes and needs in mind.
St. Luke's Hospice Services offers a full spectrum of care with emphasis on the individual, enabling patients to participate in making decisions about their specific Care Plan. Each patient has the right to be directly involved in making end-of-life decisions about his or her own care for as long as possible.
“" I want to compliment St. Luke's Hospice on the extraordinary service that we received before my husband left this earth. I have worked with other hospice companies in the past, but never felt comfortable with their team. Ann was Don's nurse and she did a fantastic job! She took the time to get to know his personality and understand his needs. I am truly grateful for her professionalism. In addition, Don's Bath Aide, Amanda did an excellent job as well. We really appreciated her service. ALL the other nurses were terrific. Thank you to all for a wonderful experience during this very sad time in my life."”
“" Dorothy's family thanks you with a grateful heart for your kind and loving care of Mom while she was nearing the end. At times like this families usually cannot do it alone and we are so blessed to have the extraordinary service of St. Luke's Hospice. May God bless your ministry and those in your care." ”
“"From the moment we decided to enter into the hospice journey with mom, we felt supported and uplifted by your whole group. You did things to make her more comfortable physically and care for her spiritually. Special thanks to Joanna for being with us during mom's last morning."”
“" Thanks for all and the great job that everyone did for our mother. We may have lost our mother but we gained family members in all of you. Thank you."”
