“This was a fantastic facility. The staff was all very friendly, empathetic, and helpful. My wife was very comfortable until the end. Top notch care.”
“This facility has made our family comfortable and welcomed. Losing a family member is never easy, but this facility has really been a blessing for our family during these difficult times. All the nurses have been gentle and empathetic. Everything is clean and makes you feel comfortable. I don’t think they realize the difference they are making in people’s lives that are going through these difficult times of losing someone they love. ”
“The staff here were nothing short of amazing. They helped my dad manage his symptoms and pain to the point where he seemed comfortable and was never in distress while there. When he passed, his nurse was right there by his side along with us. From the very beginning, the nurse was very helpful and informative. His CNAs were amazing constantly checking to see if we needed anything and making sure my dad was as comfortable as can be. Thank you all so much for the care and your compassion during a difficult time. It takes a special kind of person to do what the staff here does. You are all very appreciated. - The Romero family”
“My dad was there for only a day but the love and compassion from the staff was so beautiful. Thank you all for all you did for my dad and family. They have no idea how much they all are appreciated❤️”
“The staff, as well as, the level of care our loved one received for the short amount of time he was at this facility was Wonderful! The staff and chaplain went above and beyond to show their support and genuine care. They performed above and beyond what we expected, and we will forever be so thankful to them during our extremely difficult time. This facility was by far the best we could have asked for. Thank you everyone who works at this facility, y'alls show of empathy and everything made our time visiting and communicating so much easier! Stay blessed! ❤”
“My sister Jean was here a year ago. She had been in the hospital in ICU, the regular ward, then transferred to hospice. The time she spent here the nurses kept my sister, my brother and I informed about how she was doing. We were all several states away. We were able to talk with her by phone and she seemed happy. I was driving down from Washington state to see her and I was almost there when she passed away. They were kind enough to allow me to arrive and see her before having to take her. In the next few days they helped me through my grieving and were very compassionate. I am very grateful. It has just been a year.”
“took amazing care of my grandpo and family members who came to visit ! nurses are very compassionate, wonderful people . Thank you for everything you did for us ! ?”
“My father passed away here almost two years ago now. They took amazing care of him and he was able to pass away peacefully after a horrible and painful battle with cancer. Once brought here his pain was taken care of. They even let us take him outside just hours before he passed to see his dog one last time. They offered our family grief support and we got teddy bears made from his clothes. They even cleaned him up after after he passed so we could say our goodbyes to him. We cannot thank them enough, such compassionate people here.”
“They took great care of a family member.”

“My mother was here for a few weeks before going to a rehab center where we thought she would be getting strong enough for surgery. She ended up passing away. I wish she would have been at Joni Fair Hospice house. The RN's were so compassionate. They took care of her so well and I could tell how much tbose nurses meant to her. One in particular...Johanna. I will never forget how wonderfully she treated my mom, and am forever grateful she experienced some kind of care like this in a end of life facility, even though she didnt get ti transition there.”
“My mother was one of the first patients at Hospice House in 2008. and when she passed, it was a great experience! She did not suffer. Dad just passed yesterday and was only there for a few hours . He was not alone! The staff there are true angels!!”
“On behalf of my family I want to express my profound gratitude to Sangre de Cristo Hospice. My dad spent the last few days of his life there and was treated with the utmost compassion, respect and dignity. His service as an Air Force veteran was honored as well. His transition to be with The Lord was made comfortable and peaceful by your kind words and actions, and you were a source of comfort to the family. You are all truly angels on earth.”
