Under the order of a licensed physician, Plymouth Harbor’s professional staff follows all the same protocols you’d find in a 5-star rehabilitation center, but in the comfort of our community setting. Beyond the comprehensive care provided, resident experiences are enhanced through our social, recreational, therapeutic, and dining services – all of which are included as part of your monthly fee.
Each room in the Smith Care Center offers serene bay, garden, or pond views. Every resident has an option of selecting a private or semi-private room with space for decorative personal items that offer a sense of familiarity while they remain in our care. Residents may choose between receiving medical oversight from the center’s Medical Director or from their established physician in the community. And should the need arise for hospitalization, we work collaboratively with our local hospitals.
Of course, medical assistance is just one of the pillars of support offered in the Smith Care Center. We also provide a full selection of social, culinary, rehabilitation, and recreational programming, as requested. Residents are encouraged to participate in outings of their choosing, and to continue as usual with their favorite pastimes, hobbies, and interests.
