Our care team consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and other healthcare professionals dedicated to caring for the individual needs of all residents. Rehabilitation services are available to patients of Starr Regional Health & Rehabilitation as often as prescribed by the patient's physician.
Physical Therapy (PT)
The PT staff works with residents to improve range of motion, rehabilitation following an injury or surgery, and other muscular and ambulatory assistance. Certified therapists in Myofacial Release work with residents to improve pain control and increase range of motion for mobility.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
The OT team strives to improve the daily routine of residents to so they become more independent and regain or relearn those skills for daily living. Thermal and electrical certified therapists work to provide pain relief, muscle re-education and edema control for residents.
Speech Therapy
The Speech Therapy staff works with residents to improve swallowing function following a stroke. Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) are often utilized, especially with patients who have recently suffered a stroke.
