Glendive Medical Center (GMC) provides care for patients who are discharged from Billings Clinic but are not quite ready to go home. GMC has a newly remodeled unit designed especially to help these patients transition from the hospital back to their homes. GMC's transitional care patients are cared for by hospital acute care trained nursing staff with a physician available 24-7 for any care needs that may arise. GMC therapy services include: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory therapy. We also provide registered dietitian services, onsite pharmacy services, as well as social services. Our transitional care team meets daily to coordinate care and make certain we are meeting all the needs of our patients.
