“This place is amazing. I could not have asked for a better place to put my mom in. The staff was ultra attentive to her and went above and beyond to make sure that she was comfortable. She was always clean and her clothes was always clean whenever I would show up to visit with her. She was happy being there. When she did get sick and had to be admitted into the hospital, the staff from there showed up to check on her and when she passed away, they were supportive and some showed up to her services. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Everyone here is loving and caring, and the patients are well engaged with their activities. The lady that is over the physical therapy was a blessing and was the first person there to grab and hug me when I went there to pick up my mother's belongings after she passed. She had gotten quite attached to my mother and was sobbing because of her death”
“As a wound care nurse I have the opportunity to care for residents who have suffered through tremendous illness. We have the opportunity to improve their quality of life. As a team effort our Physicians Dr Compton and Dr.Blanks, and the wound care center at Garden Park, we work together for a positive outcome for each resident. Dixie is a small facility, which allows us to really get to know our residents up close and personal. It is like a family at Dixie, many of our associates have been with the company for decades. The atmosphere at Dixie is apparent when you walk through the door, its a family feeling. Our DON and the Unit Managers, Nurses, CNA's all work together for each resident. I would recommend Dixie from my experience here, but you probably need to come see us and get to know us personally.”
