“Canterbury is a clean, beautiful place. The staff at Canterbury is very friendly and were attentive to my mom’s needs. She needed rehab when she first arrived and the staff took great care of her and were very patient in assisting with her recovery. The care team was wonderful and kept us abreast of her situation regularly. We were comforted knowing she was in a safe, caring environment. Thank you for taking good care of my mom!”
Family Member“When my grandma started needing some extra care and my family started looking for a nursing home for her to stay in, I was so glad that she ended up at Canterbury on the Lake. Everyone was so attentive and friendly that you could tell she was really enjoying her time there. They made sure to keep my parents up to date on all of the care she was receiving, so everyone had peace of mind knowing grandma was being well taken care of. I would highly recommend Canterbury on the Lake for any senior living.”
Family Member“As a resident I love my apartment and one of my favorite things is the housekeeping services. You don’t have to worry about cleaning it is just done for you! The food is excellent and we have so my options to choose from, which I didn’t find at other communities when I was looking around. I also enjoy the open dining hours and different venues here as it gives me the flexibility to do other things and not always have to be committed to A meal at a certain time every day. Also, the activities here at Canterbury are wonderful and I always say if you are board it is your own fault! I really enjoy the outdoor activities like shuffle board and that I am able to walk year round here. I also enjoy that they plan overnight trips for us because I still get to enjoy some of the places I have always gone to over the years like the Young Americans Dinner Theatre in Petoskey. The staff is outstanding as well! They are all very caring and you can tell that they are happy here too. ”
