“My 81 yr old father had throat cancer. He had aggressive radiation and chemo plus one year of immunotherapy. We thought we were in remission however his tumor in his throat quickly came back. He went through another aggressive round of chemotherapy but it just wasn't helping. My dad decided he didn't want to prolong his life if there was no actual cure. We found out that a hole had developed in his throat from the tumor. From there, he was put on hospice. Assisted has helped my father, myself and my family so much during these last two weeks. My dad always said to make sure he is not in pain and I believe he was comfortable when he passed away. Assisted nurse Claudia was excellent and very attentive to my dad.
