How this provider describes their care services

A Place For Mom has been supporting our community locally, as well as nationwide, for over 20 years. Our service is COMPLETELY FREE to the families and patients we support; we educate, empower, and guide you thru an otherwise overwhelming process of finding the right care, living situation, and a supportive environment where seniors with all types of needs, are cared for.

Whether that's bringing care into the home, or looking at a supportive community with 24/7 care, and every other scenario in between, we'll help you find the care/community which fits your loved ones budget, can handle their care needs today and years from now, and also fits with them socially, so they can truly thrive. I look forward to advocating for you and your family! -Deidrea * DeidreaH@APlaceForMom.com 610-529-6433

Testimonials

How patients, their family and other customers have described this provider's care services

Mandy Clark was such a pleasure to work with. She really helped me stay within budget and presented me with options that made that possible. She always listens and follows through promptly after tours. I would highly recommend A Place for Mom to anyone looking for assisted living. *Mandy is our local Senior Living Advisor who lives here in Delaware*

Obviously transitioning a parent from independence and sovereignty to dependence and reliance is difficult. I frankly never thought I'd have to worry about my father at my age (I’m 35 and he's 80). But after metastasized prostate cancer was found and several strokes that lead to immobility, it was time for me to find an end-of-life care facility. We started with a non-profit community in GA. Though grateful for the cost-free care, it was not sufficient for my father. After spending 2.5 months there and some negative encounters with staff and residents, my father expressed a strong desire to leave. At that point, I reached (back) out to Mandy at a Place for Mom. Mandy contacted my fiancée and when my father first went into the facility in Atlanta and I was overwhelmed. She kindly 'backed-off' when I was swamped at work and unable to make a decision. Once I realized that my father needed to be in MD, I contacted Mandy again and she became an invaluable resource. Immediately she identifie

Thank YOU for all that you and A Place for Mom do for our short term-ers needing a different level of care! It’s so great to be able to work with an organization that can actually take the TIME to meet with families and assess their finances and level of care needed!

Knowing a loved one is facing the dark path of dementia is daunting enough, but having to find a safe, secure, and good home for them when you live a thousand miles away is overwhelming. Following your recommendations and check list I felt comfortable when visiting my top choices.

Having you there, just a phone call away, has been a comfort because I feel that if there is ever a situation where we need the help, you are already familiar with the background and situation and have stayed on top of my request.

Michele

Thanks for all the assistance you have provided during this process. I couldn’t believe how quickly you responded to me and provided me with some wonderful places to look at. I wouldn’t have considered some of these places without your insight, compassion and assistance.
