When hospitalized or even just in a primary care physician’s office, every patient wants to be treated with kindness, respect and compassion while having her needs addressed. However,that is a baseline expectation. What is it that really elevates a healthcare experience from being “just okay” to “fantastic?”
As with any service, being able to quickly get the care that one needs is crucial. Long waits in hospital Emergency Rooms or doctor’s office waiting areas can be stressful, particularly for the patient who is in pain or feeling particularly ill.
