OP #FollowFriday These #A2GENerator Supporters on Twitter Alyssa Chan

November 22nd, 2013

opFFThis week we finally pick back up with our segment of OP #FollowFriday (that is “OpenPlacement Follow Friday”), Healthcare Giants on Twitter.

Just yesterday, Aging2.0 (@Aging20), a global organization whose mission is to accelerate innovation in aging, announced the first cohort of its newly launched GENerator (#A2GENerator) founders program. Eleven innovative early-stage companies have been selected to begin the six-month program, based out of the Institute on Aging in San Francisco.  You can read more here. OpenPlacement (@OpenPlacement) had the honor to be part of this amazing and select group of innovators.

These twitter accounts are the advisors, sponsors, investors, mentors and senior care “gurus” who really have made the GENerator the great network that it is today. If we missed out on any influential supporters or you think you might be a healthcare sleeping giant, let us know in the comments or tweet us @OpenPlacement for future consideration. Accounts will be reviewed and vetted for appropriate content and stay tuned for future OP #FollowFriday’s.

On Twitter we have created a community that is sustained through the meeting of the minds on our other social media channels including our Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn accounts. Help support us and these individuals in our unified goal of educating and informing the public on topics related to care transitions, diabetes, senior care, hospice, palliative care, aging and health technology to just name a few.

Follow these exciting leaders to keep up-to-date and stay informed of healthcare changes on the horizon.

Happy Friday!
